Night time buses

Getting home from Reading after a night out is easy, thanks to the NightTrack buses.

The following services run from central Reading from 11.45pm until late into the night.

How much does it cost?

Fare savings

Half the fare - If you have a valid daytime ticket, eg. a day return, a busabout, a weekly or longer travel card or a Smartcard, the NightTrack fare is just £1. (Please note that this offer is not valid with a daytime single ticket)

'Group four for a fiver' - up to 4 people can travel together for £5 for one trip on any N prefixed bus.

Nightsavers - You can travel for less and avoid the need for exact fares by purchasing Nightsaver Smartcards from the Travel Shop, Broad Street Mall, Reading. This offers a discount on late night services from 11.30pm.
Nightsavers cost £7.50 for five journeys and £15.00 for 10 journeys.

Nightsavers are valid on all late night NightTrack routes.

Concessions

Reading Borough Council concessionary and access pass holders may travel on all Day allNight route 17 and NightTrack buses free at any time. Other local authority concessionary pass holders are carried free in accordance with the conditions of use of their pass or the national scheme conditions.
