Live Traffic Views

Why do we have traffic cameras?

The traffic images are used in our traffic control centre for monitoring and managment of traffic flow. Having views of key traffic locations helps the traffic managers keep Reading's traffic flowing.

How can they help you?

By viewing the live traffic cameras online, you can check out how busy the roads are at that particular time. You may decide to stay in the office for an extra twenty minutes to beat the rush hour traffic, or opt for an alternative route home.

Please select either still or video images from the menu on the left

Occasionally images may be unavailable. This is because the cameras are in use. The image will become available again shortly.

You will need http://www.quicktime.com to view the CCTV video.
