Important Changes
Permit controlled parking in Reading gives residents priority over people who live outside the area. Other permits are available that enable services to be provided efficiently to residents of the parking zones.
Following an extensive consultation with residents:
- the parking zones have been re-organised and simplified. Most zones are now larger, providing more flexibility for residents.
- The visitor permits system has been revised, and
- From now on permits will run for twelve months from the date of issue. It will be up to you to renew your permit before it expires.
