Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders / Notices

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order / Notice (TTRO / TTRN) is a legal instrument under Sections 14-16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which can be used to temporarily restrict the way in which a certain section of the Highway is used.

Examples of applications are closures of the carriageway or footway, parking restrictions, and banning vehicle turning movements.
