Sonning Golf Club lies in the heart of Berkshire on the A4 between Maidenhead and Reading. The golf course was designed by two of the greatest of all golf course architects Harry Colt and J H Taylor.

By Car


From the North M40 to Jn 4, right onto A404, proceed to A4, turn right towards Reading for 7.5 miles. After long dual carriageway take left at roundabout towards Woodley into Pound Lane (not right into Sonning). After 350 yards turn left into Duffield Road. The Clubhouse is on the left. From the South M3 to Jn 6, left onto A33, proceed to M4 (Jn 11), turn right to Jn 10, left onto A329M. Proceed to A4, turn right then 1.8 miles to a roundabout, turn right towards Woodley into Pound Lane (not left to Sonning), after 350 yards turn left into Duffield Road. The Clubhouse is on the left. From the East M4 to Jn 10, right onto A329M, proceed to A4, turn right as above. Alternatively leave M4 at Jn 8/9 onto A404, proceed to A4, turn left towards Reading for 7.5 miles. After long dual carriageway take left at roundabout towards Woodley into Pound Lane (not right into Sonning). After 350 yards turn left into Duffield Road. The Clubhouse is on the left. From the West M4 to Jn 10, left onto A329M, proceed to A4 & turn right towards Maidenhead. Approx 1.8 miles to a roundabout, turn right towards Woodley (not left to Sonning) after 350 yds turn left into Duffield Road. The Clubhouse is on the left
