Madejski Stadium Park & Ride

The Madejski Stadium park & ride site (RG2 0FL) is situated north of junction 11 of the M4, take the A33 towards Reading and follow the signs for the park & ride site.

  

Journey time

Journey time to central Reading is 10 minutes and to Reading Station is 15 minutes.

 

Timetable

Greenwave buses into central Reading and back operate about 10-15 minutes, Monday to Friday (about every 30 minutes on Saturdays).

• First bus into central Reading is at 5:45am Mon - Fri and 7:33am Sat.
• Last bus back is at 9:27pm from Reading Station (Station Road stop SD) Mon - Fri and 7:13pm Sat.
• Sunday services on the 4 Sundays prior to Christmas.

Running to the following stops in central Reading:

• St Mary's Butts outside Broad Street Mall stop CS.
• Station Road stop SD.
• Market Place stop MC.

Cash fares:

• Adult single £2.00
• Adult return £3.50
• Solo single (aged 5-18) £1.50
• Solo return (aged 5-18) £2.20
• Group Return £5.00 (Up to 5 people, max 3 adults, after 9.30am Mon - Fri, anytime Sat. Not valid to or from football and rugby matches.)

Football fares: greenwave buses will charge the same fares as Reading buses football service F1 for journeys to and from football matches.

Normal greenwave fares will not be available from 2 hours before kick–off for journeys to Madejski Stadium nor after the match from the stadium will charge the same fares.

On saturdays when football or rugby matches take place there will be no park & ride buses from the stadium between 11:45am and 6pm. Buses from central Reading will serve South Oak Way instead of the P&R stop from 3:25pm to 5:45pm. See timetable leaflet for full details.

Smartcards can be purchased at the Bus Shop, Broad Street Mall, Reading between 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.or online at http://www.reading-buses.co.uk/.

 

Parking

Parking for park & ride customers is free (apart from when sporting or other events are held at the stadium). The car park is unsupervised and has a 6ft 6inch width restriction. Parking is at owners risk. Overnight parking is not permitted.
