Rides Into South Oxfordshire

West of The Warren in Caversham toward Mapledurham House. 

L8 - pick up R40 from Central Reading across Reading Bridge and through Christchurch Meadows. At Bridge Street turn right, taking care with the junctions, and left onto Church Road, past Caversham Court and turn left into The Warren. At the end of The Warren the track continues with relatively easy cycling to Mapledurham House and, if you wish, beyond into South Oxfordshire.

Route NCN5 at Highdown Hill Road into Oxfordshire. 

L9 - take R40 as far as the junction with Rotherfield Way and continue along Hemdean Road. An off-road path takes you on as far as Gravel Hill where you should turn right. At Highdown Hill Road you will join NCN5. Take a left and continue along the quiet roads to Kidmore End or further destinations of your choice.
